Care to Cure

Product leadership and AI assisted coding

I owned product vision, UX and scope for Care to Cure, turning two nonprofit partners’ shared mission into an iOS and Android app. I designed the experience around discovery: a clear place to ask, a short personalisation flow, and ways to browse when conversation wasn’t what someone needed.

I made the product tangible in days, using a working prototype to shape the experience and agree what to build first. That hands-on approach continued through delivery, where I used AI coding tools to contribute app features alongside engineering. The app passed Apple and Google store reviews, and we handed over the product and codebase.

Finding guidance after spinal cord injury

After a spinal cord injury, even knowing what to ask can be difficult. Information is scattered, and people are expected to make sense of it while adjusting to a life-changing injury.

Care to Cure brings information and support together in an AI-led app.

People can ask questions in their own words, discover relevant guidance through conversation, and explore content tailored to their needs and stage of the journey.

Trust

Trust shaped the product. The AI experience was designed around curated information, with topic guardrails and first-use consent. Its role was to help people find educational guidance, not provide a diagnosis.
